Trip report and Pics from my trip from 12561 Swatantrata Senani SF Express yesterday.
Day before yesterday I had a ticket in Senani in B2,45.Train was running late by 5 hours.I had to go to Allahabad for my exams.Train arrived Sonpur at 00:05 and left at 00:08.SPJ WDM3D was leading.From Sonpur to Chhapra the train blasted at 100+ kmph and reached Chhapra at 01:05 and left Chhapra at 01:20.Coaches were shiny from outside and tip top clean from inside.After Chhapra the pathetic NER controlling started.It was halted at Gautamsthan for over 1 hour due to Rajdhani crossing.When our train halted Rajdhani had just left Ballia and our train could have easily reached upto Suraimanpur.Then after it ran well till Ballia.Then after I...

slept.In morning we were crossing Nandganj when I awaked.After that it stopped several places for crossings.Most surprisingly it was also being halted for Demu/Passenger trains crossing,another pathetic mindset of NER controllers.Then we were halted at Varanasi city for Lko-Chhapra crossing.Then we reached Varanasi jn.It halted there for 10 minutes.At Varanasi outer we overtook Archana Express.Then after we reached Manduadih where our train was halted for one and half hour.There Udhana-Danapur crossed us but don't know why it was halted there for one more hour for no reason.Then after Senani showed its real power after Bhulanpur.From Bhulanpur to Allahabad the train just blasted enroute and from Gyanpur Road onwards it continuously ran at 100+ before being slowed down before Daraganj.Then from Daraganj to Allahabad it ran at app 50 kmph and that day no trolling happened.A straight entry was made to Pf7 of Allahabad.Overall journey was very comfortable,very less jerks and sounds.Clean toilets and basins.Beddings were also clean.A perfect ECR maintenance.Only one lack is that every time when the train started after halts ,it starts with jerks.
