#ObservationsAtPune *** 8 Years Ago Today at Pune! *** Friday, 15-Feb-2008 : 16:45 to 17:15 hrs!
1) At Shivajinagar (SVJR), BRN/BRNA/BRNAHS flat open wagons goods train headed by orange KYN WDG3A # 13360 Shakti was waiting to proceed towards Pune.
2) 6352 Nagercoil-Tirupati-Mumbai Exp speeded towards Lonavala with KYN WCAM3 # 21945.
3) L17 Lonavala-Pune local came on PF2 and proceeded towards Pune....

I reached Pune station PF4 at around 17:05 hrs using L17 local.
4) Electric trip shed had BL WCAM1 # 21852 # 218xx and KYN WCAM3 # 21931 # 21xxx and 1 KYN WCG2 201xx loco.
5) Pit line between PF2/3 had single blue GY WDM3A # 14034 baldie (buldge face towards Mumbai direction).
6) 2780 Nizamuddin-Vasco Goa Exp departed from PF1 with turquoise PUNE WDG3A Shakti Loco.
7) 1077 Pune-Jammutawi Jhelum Exp was ready on PF3 with orange PUNE WDG3A # 14886. The train had 1 extra GEN unreserved coach marked as "PUNE-GWL" (Pune-Gwalior)!
8) 1621A Pune-Satara Passenger was ready on PF6 with blue PUNE WDM2 # 16042.
9) Pit line near PF6 had orange KZJ WDM3A # 18894R (at dead end) and red/cream/grey ED WDM3A # 14055 baldie (buldge face towards Mumbai - Erode loco in ready to move out position). This Erode WDM3A 14055 had no ED Loco Shed's Logo, only words "Diesel Loco Shed Erode" were written on both faces and side walls. This ED power will haul today's 2157 Hutatma Exp to Solapur, return with tomorrow's 2158 Hutatma Exp and will go out tomorrow afternoon with Nagercoil Exp towards South.
Later, at 19:00 hrs, near GIT (Ghorpadi Yard), I saw 1556 Solapur-Pune Passenger heading towards Pune with ED WDM2 # 17674! Also, yellow PUNE WDS6 shunter was busy doing shunting of goods wagons in the yard.

Evening observations at Ghorpuri Yard GIT Area, near Pune, on Sunday, 15-Feb-2009 from 17:30 to 18:30 hrs!
1) Late running 2780 Nizamuddin-Vasco Goa Exp arrived from Daund direction with twin PUNE WDG3A MU'ed pair! The
leading loco (towards Pune direction) orange PUNE WDG3A # 14677 and trailing loco was orange PUNE WDG3A # 14904....

2) 1077 Pune-Jammutawi Jhelum Exp was hauled by PUNE WDM3D # 11225.
3) Derated green PUNE WDM2S # 18255 was shunting BVZC caboose marked as # NR # 77387.
4) Inside GIT Yard Area, green PUNE WDM2 # 17273 was ready with a track relaying machine and 140T crane.
5) Orange PUNE WDG3A # 14565 baldie (buldge face towards Daund/Miraj direction) was waiting in the yard.
6) 2135 Pune-Nagpur SF Exp was hauled by PUNE WDM3D # 11216.
7) 2780 Nizamuddin-Vasco Goa Exp was hauled towards Miraj by turquoise PUNE WDG3A # 13048 Shakti! Thus, twin Pune WDG-3A unit was removed at Pune!
8) Blue PUNE WDM2 # 17898 moved from loco shed to Pune station. This will haul 1547 Pune-Baramati Passenger.
9) 2157 Pune-Solapur Hutatma Exp was hauled by ACD (anti collision device) fitted ED WDM3D # 11187. The train was late from Pune itself by almost 15 minutes!
10) 1556 Solapur-Pune Passenger came with GY WDM3A # 14031 baldie (buldge face towards Daund direction) and was held up (due to non-availability of platform at Pune)!
11) 1041 Mumbai-Chennai Exp was hauled by orange KZJ WDM3A # 14042 baldie (buldge face towards Daund direction).
MAS Exp was late by 20 minutes!
12) 2129 Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Exp was hauled by orange PUNE WDG3A # 14677! Thus, MU'ed pair that came with Goa
Exp was separated at Pune and 14677 was put into service on AzadHind Exp!
