Yes, this and Basava pass through 3 states before terminating in the state where it originated.
Both should get diverted. Ypr - Maq Weekly via Kunigal and Basava via Gadag-Ballari

Careless Men at Level Crossing Ignoring Speeding RPM WAP4 Hauled Mangalore-YPR Express!
Notice the ignorant men crossing just before furious # 22829 RPM WAP4 makes a dual honking entry to level crossing near Hebbal.
The train coming from YPR side struggle due gradient before this LC where as vice versa is the case for train moving towards YPR,eg is this one.
