Koi bhi BKSC pax KSX jakar VB nahi lega. There is good bus connectivity and 3 days ICE . Agar train lena hai to DHN/PRR options. Jaha pe sf and mail/exp trains nahi rukti waha VB ka stop is joke
Koi bokaro ke liye nahi diya gaya tha railway ki taraf se aisa kuch nahi bola gay.

You need to have contact with commercial department of your zone to get this. For a detailed overview including deboarding data, it's better to file a RTI.
For Ranchi, Purulia it's a long route, meaning more time consuming and more fare. So chance of good weekday occupancy is low.
For Tatanagar, it's a very good train. Fate of this VB is completely on it.

Looks like a similar pattern to MyS-MAS VB. From Mys train is relatively less occupied . It gets completely full at Bangalore. Similarly from MAS till Mys almost 90% of passengers deboard at Bangalore.
End to end passengers are less, intermediate passengers more. Because of this overall occupancy ends up on higher side as same seat may have booking for 2 passengers. With festive season coming up and vacations as well, likely to see more passengers in coming days

Was Kotshila more of a political halt ? Any significance or reason for having halt at tis place. Recently even DHN-Allp was also given a permanent halt at this place

Muri se direct chandil ja sakta tha. Via Puruliya is useless. Isse acha via Bksc-GMO-Dhn le jaate.
RAJ/SHTB and even SF trains skip Kotshila. This is a big mockery. This VB does not look promising as of now with slow TT and bus/ICE as alternatives.
Woh agar full potential par chale to avg 100 kmph ho sakta hai.. Isliye uska naam nahi liya.. Ranikamplapati nzm ko 7 hr ka schedule dena chahiye.
7 hour ka TT dene me WCR NCR NR ro denge, inse 94 ka TT jisme already 30+ minutes ka slack tha wo tak to handle nhi hua, ulta or 6 minutes ka slack badha diya halt time increase krne k liye jisko easily slack se adjust kr skte the.

Can anyone tell for sure that while travelling in this train from Ranchi to Howrah, which seats in CC are front facing (facing in the direction of moving train), seats 1 to 39 or seats 40 to 78. I also wanted to know which row of seats are not properly placed with respect to windows, i.e, which seats do not have windows by their sides and they have the walls between two windows by their sides.
Great to see the on time running of this train and last couple of days reaching Howrah ahead of its arrival time. I am sure there is a team that will be monitoring the punctuality and RB is also looking at the same.

Too slow TT for VB STANDARDs even with majority of route is 130.
Maintaining punctuality of passenger trains means delaying goods trains which is a loss for railways. So railways deliberately delays passenger trains and gives pass to goods trains. Its railways policy. Show speed in time table and add superfast surcharge to its tickets and extract money from passengers. Then delay that train by giving pass to goods trains and then extract money by timely running of good trains. Get double profit. Simple.
