See this. No prior information before diversion. And not touching Tatanagar where majority of the passengers embark/disembark. And to avoid more delay, you would just divert? As such, all trains should then run on the shortest possible path, avoiding all major stations then. SER totally in its own world.

And BTW, passengers who are at the station could listen to these announcements. What about the passengers who plan their journeys looking at the online running status? They might get the shock in "Train is diverted and not touching TATA".

That's what I am thinking. Swarnarekha is short terminated, ASN TATA MEMU is also short terminated. PRR JGM is cancelled and HTE TATA as well. How would the passengers come to Tata?

I think TATA passengers will deboard at Sini and will be asked to board Ispat
