Sources close to Indian Govt supporting News media recently ran a show on Indian Railway. The show was purposely run to highlight & emphasize on the fact "Vande Bharat Trains are better than Shatabdi & Janshatabdi Trains. If the current govt. returns to power in 2024 again, then Indian Railways will do away with all Shatabdi & Janshatabdi trains. Vande Bharat will replace all Shatabdi trains & Vande Metro will replace Janshatabdi trains from 15th August 2024 onwards".

Overnight shatabdi and gatimaan running late by 12hrs and 8hrs. All trains are originating on time or with minor delay from NDLS and NZM but then heavily delayed after FBD. Is IR doing this purposely so that they don't have to refund the passengers due to late running?

Great
Once the fastest train in India [in terms of peak speed] , it has been overtaken by Gatimaan and Vande Bharat. To ruin it furthur, stops like Morena don't help it either.

I have a question. Are Bina, Lalitpur, Morena and Dholpur big enough towns/cities to generate revenue for this Shatabdi?
