This is the only weekly from North bihar to Kerala.
If rerouted via VZM this can then be extended to MFP/ RXL/ CPR.
North Bihar (CPR, HJP, MFP, SPJ, DBG, BJU) aaram se apni Kerala weekly ko bhar lega i suppose along with intermediate stations like ASN, PRR, ROU, SBP.

This was originally GKP ErkN 4 days a week and one day extended to Barauni and was running from more then 20+ yrs from 1990's and these trains itself need to be made daily. So better to introduce new trains via new route the disturbing the old weeklies.

Yes of course. Rapti family must have had origin from GKP only. But now when it has been extended, and is the solo train connecting North bihar with Kerala, it makes no sense for the train to travel 800km extra. Why would anybody prefer it for south from Bihar?
Extra km could've been justified if the patronage is doubtful, but I guess that won't be the case with this.
