Sir I have a query. Which train is being referred to Madras Howrah A/c?
Are you referring to the train numbered 4? It is the MAS-HWH mail. It had A/C 1st and 2nd class accommodation, which was mentioned in the TT along with the train name.
However, a A/C express (I'm not sure if it was a weekly or bi-weekly) did run between Howrah and Madras for a short time starting from 1st April, 1967. This was inaugurated along with Madras Bombay A/C express and Howrah-Delhi A/C express via Patna (Present day Poorva express via Patna) which were also inaugurated on the same day. The MAS-HWH train had an RSA with the HWH-Delhi train. Later on, the A/C trains from MAS were discontinued and the rakes were used for increasing the frequency of the Howrah Delhi...

yes. HWH-YPR used to depart YPR around 16.30 hrs & reach Howrah at 03.30 hrs & route was via Melpakkam-Tiruttani . TPTY-HWH Express was TPTY Puri Express after the linking & de-linking of Puri Howrah Passenger at Khurda road was withdrawn. Giving 2006 TAAG Screenshot shortly

Priority is something not be thought of even if they SF Ratnachal and Janmabhoomi late to SC by 30-60mins while vskp 15-45mins in SCR everyday.
Peruke Speed up time nadapaali ga... Unna trains anni late eh daily..
even they too get some what priority but circar this and some other trains which were completed 35+ years were not become sf
