There is a good restaurant at YPR named Nitu's kitchen. Its a three storey building with non-veg cuisine on 3rd floor and veg cuisine on ground floor. Its on Pf 6. Food is good and of great quality. Its the only better food available on pf 6 or else there is a annapurna restaurant on the outside of pf 1 side. Its cheaper and average quality.
Heard from another tip about Kamat hotel. I am going to try today exploring PF 6 and add in.
Non veg section has been closed. I went in last week of jan 2019.
Just to add. I did not find any Kamat restaurant. One cleaning person told me it is closed and now named as Dakshin Veg hotel at PF 6 area itself but on walkway side (not on G floor)
Have food at Platform 6 instead of Platform 1 as it is more developed and also has some good restaurants

If I may add to your tip, there are plenty and plenty of buses apart from the ones you've listed towards the PF6 entrance from KBS, including quite a few volvos. The place is locally called 'Goverdhan theatre side' stop.
The other entrance, PF1 that is, is locally called market side and has very few buses and runs less frequently.

It would have been better if this station tip was posted under Yeshavantapur station....
Ideally should find place under the Stn tips section of both the stations. I'm not sure if that can be done.
And the famous 52e bus from SBC(pf-1 side) railway station to YPR railway station(pf- 1 side) also connects MWM railway station too.
Another one is bus no 90 from YPR market to KBS. So old and famous is the bus that we localilites call a part of the route the bus takes as "90 route main road". Its the road starting from YPR PS to 15cross jn.
In YPR, how to book retiring rooms, want to use it for 3-4 hrs max, we have tickets for 00863 / HWH YPR SF SPL reach YPR around midnight, around 3am we are planning to start our road journey to Manipal. Just thinking of some place to refresh after tedious journey before hitting the road.
Since we don't have booking for onward journey we are unable to book retiring rooms online.

In yeswantpur Dormitory n Rooms are generally available. You can directly approach towards Incharge n get the same.
You can book online on your Hwh-Ypr Pnr, You will have to book 20.00 Hrs to 08.00 hrs (12Hrs)

Yes agree. Yeswantpur to Majestic or vice versa plenty of buses back to back for pf 6 , Goverdhan theatre side. These 252 service buses rule the route
Likely by next month itself from SBC to Yesvantpur passengers can go by Metro rail too. Green line corridor will give direct connection to SBC and yesvantpur.

The most convenient way to reach your hotel is to take a metro from the Kempegowda metro station( Majestic) which is opp the railway station and take a 20-25 min ride to JP Nagar metro. Your hotel is at a walkable distance from the metro station. Buses, especially during traffic hours could take upwards of 1hr to reach your destination.
You are right. It is about half a km from the JP Nagar metro station and about 300 meters from the Banashankari metro station.
