The main bus stand for nearby towns is on Babuniya Road, shared autos (charging 15-20 rs) are available for Babuniya Road. Also, if you are travelling in the bogie 15 onwards while going towards Chapra, ( or in the first 5 bogies when travelling towards Deoria), you may walk to the railway crossing(siswan dhala) close by instead of walking all the way back to the main station exit. Cycle rickshaws and autos are available there as well, and will save you a half km walk back to the station main exit
The dhala which u r talking about is andar dhala... Not siswan..

Now the second half of this tip is not useful since after inauguration of ROB.. The rickshaws/auto walas don't come to Andar dhala now. You have to take main exit. Otherwise you will be walking 1.5 km to the main road
No good food options on the station. Railway standard Puri Sabzi is the only option. PF#1 near ticket counter has Sudha Milk stall that provides options of good flavoured milk, Lassi, Shrikhand and likes..... neat and clean
