1. Platform #1 is rich and has maximum amenities. You can find Escalators, Many Stalls like Medical, Shopping One, Cosmetics, Benjoe Restaurant, Dominos, Amul Parlour, AC Lounge, Waiting Hall, Retiring Room, Station Master, Cloak Room, proper display of reservation charts & indicators in working condition, lot of place to sit, Reservation as well as UR Ticket Counter are available.
2. Platform #2 & #3 has couple of stalls and water facility, looks like ordinary only, handy sitting place.

The charges for the AC Lounge (meant for AC passengers only) have been increased. The new rates are Rs 50 for 2 hours. Another Rs 40 for an additional two hours and a further Rs 40 for another addition of two hours.
The new platform # 4 looks good and there is a straight entry for pedestrians on to the platform from the city side road which makes it convenient. However, I was told that this new platform is not yet being used for passenger trains.

There are frequent Kadamba and private buses available from main enterence aswell as from Second enterence (towards Aquem side) from 06:30 to 20:00 there after no public transport to Madgaon City. During night you can opt for pilot bike service or Rickshaw which are available from both the sides (charges more). However pre paid 24X7 taxi services is available at main entrance. Retiring rooms are also available at station which can be booked well in advance through Konkan Railway website. Nearby station you will get many hotels..

Bcoz i think Buses are present only on Pf 3 side , i.e second exit side , not at the front exit side.

There are frequent buses during morning time & evening time from main enterence. & Kadamba transport corporation also operates bus between Madgaon KTC bus stand to Railway station. It operates from main enterece side.
Never saw any buses on main entrance side.
Not morning time or not even at evening time. If you could post some pictures of the same when you visit madgaon station next time will be very very beneficial.
Last time due to No buses , i had to walk nearly 1 km on road to Main entrance side from Panaji main market area.

There are buses available every 5-10 mins on main exit. Just walk 150 meters towards main road. You will find Buses bound for Margao City and bus stand.
At Madgaon station we have both Veg and Non Veg areas in Ben Joes railway restaurant on platform 1. There is also a snacks window which serves items like idly, medu-wada, alu-bonda, mirchi bajji, dhokla, cool drinks etc . What is nice about this place is that it has a microwave which is used by the server to reheat items to make them piping hot before packing. However, the microwave cannot be seen by the customer and is used only when the customer insists. So ask for the reheating when you go there next.

Thanks for the comprehensive details on Madgaon station. Just a couple of points to add: There is an escalator on platform 1 which takes you to the top of the FOB. There is an AC lounge for AC passengers on payment (Rs 50 for 2 hours) on platform 1. The prepaid taxi stand is outside platform 1. There is an ATM and counter of Goa tourism, also outside platform 1. There is a new train restaurant called Margao Central located around 500 metres (approx.) on the platform 1 side ( click here (Matsyagandha and Netravati from Mumbai stop at Canacona. The SWR line from Vasco and the KR line from Roha meet at Majorda. The SWR line from Londa/Hubli meets the KR line at Madgaon

Yes , the Vasco line indeed separates at majorda but long distance trains skip it that's why Mao served as the change point for most tourists ,that's why didn't mentioned it.
And yes, the ac lounge is quite good and clean forgot to mention it, after two hours they charge 40 RS extra

I think I got misled by the phrase 'lines intersect' used by you in your first posting. Now that you say 'change point' I get what you meant
No, I have never eaten at Margao Central, although have passed it quite often when I alight/depart from MAO.
