Alight here for the famous malampuzha dam. Lot of buses are available from the 4cross road junction at a walking distance from the station.
Also for the awesome TOP NOTCH bakery and the famous Chakka vattals of Palghat.. :D
dad had been to PGT and bought 1 Kg Jilebi from the same bakery... Was so yummy :D

Siddharth S^~ 23601 blog postsThe Non AC retiring room is of a very okay fare and not maintained up to mark..A mouse was running around on the room..Pipes were leaking in the bathroom and tiles were not very clean..The bedsheets were olayish and so were the pillows..Not very recommendable
This is one station where you do not need to worry about mobile / laptop charging points. PF2 and 3 are equipped enough and more charging points. Almost all pillars and the walls of retiring rooms and VRR.. So dont worry if you have a low battery.....
