Visakhapatnam: While nearly 20-30% of all train commuters from Visakhapatnam
station travel to and from Bengaluru, the station does not have a single regular train between Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru.
Many people travelling between the cities, mostly techies have to depend of
passing through the city railway station or on special trains operated occasionally.
Because of political pressure electrification on almost all the routes in SWR started otherwise no one ever used to bother about Karnataka
I said the route to address the issue but not against karnataka...

Why you want to take the name of other routes which are not at all related to sbc vskp route ? And whats wrong if more trains are added to Karnataka? Its the right to ask for more intrastate trains and take example of trains which are running in the same route of vskp not these trains
ok lets do onething trains bypassing vskp should be routed to vskp mainly ypr-hwh duranto and few Imp trains which starts in morning hours and reaches early mrng to vskp. even I am a IT professional every time i need to travel i have to book other trains and trains which takes long time but there are some SF which can be routed to vskp which helps many passengers. In my view this will be a backup plan until new train and new zone forms if they can get atleast 3-4 good AC trains and Duranto it will be a super hit
I 100% happy with KA railways getting new trains new lines now those who are taking now about KA MOSR for ypr sbc congestion i just ask how many trains do VSKP SC has and Mangalore was the city in KA with same as in old AP what VSKP was we know how many trains are there between Mangalore to Bangalore and how many trains start and end with in old AP and KA
The city will have two station complexes with Marripalem station being developed as a full-fledged station by 2021, if things fall in place as planned.

As per some info, they dont want to develop much VSKP from now on, One this is trains has to travel distance two times and biggest issue is loco reversal for every trains.
Also for us better to have another terminal station at marripalem as it connects most of city.
Having additional PFs in Visakhapatnam will accommodate more originating trains than to bring bypass trains.
To meet future Suburban services
Yes having additional PF helps for Local trains. They can easily build towards Gnanapuram side. Hope we get locals once zone functions.

इसके अलावा ट्रैन के समय में भी बदलाव किया गया लेकिन हाल्ट में किसी टाइप का वदलाव नहीं होगा। 22415 आंध्र प्रदेश एसी सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस विशाखापट्नम से सुबह 08:35 रवाना होती है और 34 घंटे 30 मिनट में नई दिल्ली पहुंची है जबकि 20805 आंध्र प्रदेश एक्सप्रेस विशाखापट्नम से रात दस आठ बजे रवाना होगी और 32 घंटे 35 मिनट के सफर के बाद नई दिल्ली सुबह छह बजकर पेंतीस मिनट पर पहुंचेगी। करीब दो घंटे के समय की बचत होगी।

For your kind information and eye opening IR does a lot of mistakes in introduction of train routes, config, timings, days of run which conducting proper traffic feasibility survey and introduce as per political pressure. At least now they have corrected on public demand after 4 yrs of introduction. Most Humsufur express are good examples where are introduced in routes where are no daily trains and running with 6 AC coaches.
Most Humsafar Express oh seriously! My routes have 3 HS. Nizamuddin-Durg, Tirupati-Jammu Tawi, Nanded-Jammu Tawi all are flop You talk about Humsafar huh!
And i believe political halts and trains have came more in fashion from last 5 years. And talk about traffic survey, When already a slot packed trains are running between bhopal to delhi in night hours another train is introduced with High speed and sleeper coaches and few people want their train to run over existing high speeds.
Definitely most HS don't have full traffic in most sections Tirupati SVKDT doesn't have good load in SC TPTY and my point stands valid SL is needed for pilgrimage centers rather then flexi fare train and that no train available in that route. Pilgrims mostly travel with families and all classes of people. Durg Nizamumudin is good train with morning arrival which is the requirement and again morning dep back is not that preferred and demand will be more for evening dep anytime after 1600. NED amtitsar HS I don't think full AC needed a SF with more number of 3AC would be better. One more in central line is Indore Puri which doesn't have direct connection until now with SL given a HS. Regarding slot travellers right from VSKP VjA NGP want morning arrival but not evening arrival at Delhi where they are ni path constraints there is

Ministry of Railways has approved the introduction of New Train No. 22701/22702 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam Uday Express with effect from 26th September, 2019.
Advertising well in advance is a welcome step, good for Public as well as IR
