Quite surprised at the delay. The path is usually clear at this time since there are 3 trains towards ypr from hosur would have already passed by then.
Also the SBC-ERS intercity is also way ahead. Not sure why it gets trolled/delayed. The railways would have devised the time table after taking into account these factors

After reading this I remember way back in mid 1994, where Lalbagh Express was blocked by Swarna Express passengers at BWT for stopping their train due to crossings. At that time it was single line between WFD to KPN.
Lalbagh was held up for about 3 hours & finally reached MAS by 1530 hrs
I still remember this as i hv (bad) habit of writing diary
