Additionally, some express trains operating on this route will also make stops at Sultanpur. A special train will run from Raxaul to Bhagalpur via Muzaffarpur, leaving Raxaul at 5:15 am and reaching Bhagalpur at 2:30 pm. The train will have stops at Sultanpur, Munger, Sahibpur, Begusarai, Barauni, Samastipur, and Muzaffarpur, among others. The return journey will start at 4:30 pm and arrive in Raxaul at 3:15 am the next day. Another special train is planned from Gorakhpur to Deoghar, passing through Muzaffarpur. The railway authorities are also planning to install display boards at key locations, including near Jaghate and major crossroads, to display train schedules. Water dispensers will be provided at the stations to ensure adequate water supply for passengers.

Ajit Kumar, informed that the driver and guard of a passenger train arriving from Raxaul had reported a body lying on the railway track to the station. The RPF removed the body from the track and took it to the Raxaul railway station, where it's being prepared for postmortem. The Railway Police is investigating if the deceased committed suicide or if his body was placed on the track after murder.
