The tracks towards Sitapur cut off from this station, making it a junction point. However, no express trains stop here. Hence, a very laid back feel. A couple of passengers to Sitapur/Mailani do start/terminate here due to lack of platforms at LJN. It is not located in the best of locations and transport connectivity can only be found directly when a train arrives. Otherwise, one should be ready to walk for some distance to the main road via narrow alleys.

Lines towards Sitapur diverge from here. Only passenger trains stop here. The infrastructure of the station is in dire need of development, as evidenced by the front image. Some work was going on at the station. Not the easiest station to go to in Lucknow. Too bad these trains do not originate from Lucknow Jn.
