Remarks for the points pertaining to South Western Railway: The rake of Train No 16537/16538 Bangalore-Nagercoil weekly express is integrated with other express trains. It is not feasible to increase the frequency of this train for the present due to resource, path, and platform and pitline constraints at Bangalore city station. Garibrath express is 87.5% and 85.05% respectively. Hence, it is not feasible to increase the frequency of this train for the present. The services of Train No 12677/12678 Bangalore-Ernakulam-Bangalore Intercity Express are available during day time from Bangalore to Coimbatore. Hence, it is not feasible to introduce additional train from Bangalore to Coimbatore.

There is a proposal to run SBC-Mumbai Duronto in this years budget.
Besides, the YPR-PDY GR is likely to be withdrawn, and run as YPR-Jaipur GR regularly,
And Chalukya Expres will be run as Express between Puducherry and YPR to compensate for withdrawal of GR.(with additional rake)...
Also, SBC-Mysore is proposed to be terminated at Bangalore.....and connection to Chamundi as non-stop between SBC...
