During recent visit to my hometown singrauli, i got to see the massive scale construction and earthwork regarding yard remodelling and Turntable construction work at obra dam railway station in Dhanbad division of East Central Railway. The too much earthwork may be a sign of construction of a loco shed possibly as the section is electrified completely.

Jan 21 2020 : Singrauli (SGRL)- Chopan(CPU) doubling and electrification update.
Earth work being done between OBRA and SGRL at good speed. Sleeper placement at some places. Bridges under construction. Holes for electric traction already constructed also for down line with placement of poles at some places.
Beyond KarailaRoad (KRLR) work is 70% done.
