Railway passengers demand FOB at Patas Railway Station, Daund Pune shuttle stopped for 20 mins today

Passengers at Patas railway station, near Pune, protested the lack of a Foot Overbridge (FOB) by delaying a train. The protest was organized by the Pune Gramin Railway Pravasi Group. The protesters claim that the FOB construction is a simple project but has been delayed for years despite the station's high traffic. The station is part of the Pune-Lonavala suburban railway network, which recently celebrated its 46th anniversary. The network is currently using old EMU rakes, but passengers are hoping for new rakes this year.

Yeh station Pune-Lonavala suburban railway network ka part hai, jiska recently 46th anniversary mana gaya tha. Network abhi purane EMU rakes use kar raha hai, but passengers ko ummeed hai ki is saal new rakes milenge.
