The Palakkad Division has netted a record ticket checking earnings of Rs 1.10 crore in the month of January through various checks and penalty on ticketless...

Good work by division.
But these checks must be conducted regularly..... but sad to say this activities Railway dosen't do full year daily in all sections. Railways become more active in January, February, march before year ending and sometimes in September, October, in festival time..other times of year Railway ticket checking is very much in inactive state. I feel Railway should regularly in all sections conduct ticket checking to earn more money from passengers section. More daily checking will force all ticketless travelers to buy tickets and that will increase Revenue of IR in passenger section.
