On September 4th, a 65-meter long, 400-ton bridge structure was placed over the pillars on the railway track in 3 hours. Preparations for the second bridge have begun. The second bridge is a composite steel bridge, and its two girders were launched on Monday. The second bridge will be placed first, followed by other works. Both the railway overbridge and the composite bridge were brought from Alwar, Rajasthan. After placing the first bridge, the second bridge is being assembled. After this, other works will be completed and the road will be opened for the public. It is expected to take approximately 1.5 months to complete the work, including placing the second bridge, laying tracks, building the road, and other tasks. Traffic on the road is expected to resume in late October or early November. The parts for the bridge arrived in Bhopal from Alwar in January-February this year and were assembled in March. Work began in March. The road has been diverted for about six months. The bridge parts have been assembled above the DRM Office Crossing road.
