with the Howrah-Pune Duronto Express being the first to depart from platform 1 at Chakradharpur station. This train had been stranded at Chakradharpur station since 11:50 pm on Thursday. As a safety precaution, the train was held at the station for 8.5 hours. Meanwhile, the railway cancelled a significant number of passenger trains operating in the Chakradharpur Railway Division, mostly those running between Tata and Rourkela. This cancellation caused further distress to passengers, leading to overcrowding at the ticket counters.
