The broad gauge track has been laid between Shahgarh and Pilibhit on the Mailani-Pilibhit rail section. Mini packing of the track is underway, raising hopes for train operations between Mailani and Pilibhit soon. Train operations between Mailani and Shahgarh resumed on November 9 after gauge conversion was completed. Delays in starting work in the Mala forest due to objections from the Forest Department resulted in the completion of the track laying work from Shahgarh to Pilibhit, including the Mala forest, after receiving the NOC.

Mailani-Pilibhit rail section ke Shahgarh se Pilibhit ke beech pura section mein broad gauge track lay kar diya gaya hai. Track ki mini packing ka kaam tez chal raha hai. Isse Mailani se seedhe Pilibhit tak jaldi hi train operation ki ummid jagi hai. Aaman parivartan ke liye Rail Vikas Nigam...

Limited (RVNL) ne Mailani-Pilibhit rail section par 30 May 2018 ko mega block liya tha. Aaman parivartan ka kaam pura hone ke baad Mailani-Shahgarh ke beech 9 November se train operation shuru ho chuka hai. Van vibhag ki aapatti ke karan Mala jungle mein kaam shuru karne mein der hui. NOC milne ke baad karyadayi sanstha ne Mala jungle sahit Shahgarh se Pilibhit tak pura section mein track bhicha diya hai.
