भारत की पहली स्लीपर वंदे भारत चलेगी इन दो बड़े शहरों के बीच, महज 12 घंटे में होगा सफर पूराThe 'Mission Raftar' project, launched five years ago, aims to run trains at 160 km/h between Mumbai and Delhi. Over 90% of the project, spanning 1,478 route km and costing ₹8,000 crore, is complete. Fencing on both sides of the tracks is crucial for high-speed operations. West Railway, overseeing 792 route...

The 'Kavach' safety system, which prevents collisions by automatically braking trains, will be implemented on the entire route. 90 engines have been equipped with Kavach on 735 km of the West Railway network. Successful trials have been conducted on 142 km, and the installation is expected to be completed by December 2024. Trials have been conducted on the Vadodara-Ahmedabad (62 km), Virar-Surat (40 km), and Vadodara-Ratlam-Nagda (37 km) sections. To facilitate high speed, track straightening, strengthening, and increasing the cushion beneath the tracks are underway. The project has straightened 107 curves on the West Railway stretch, with 27 more planned. The tracks are being upgraded to handle higher speeds, replacing the existing 52 kg/90 UTS rails with 60 kg/90 UTS rails. The project is progressing rapidly, with some work expected to be completed by February 2024. The entire Mumbai-Delhi route will utilize the 'Kavach' technology. The average speed for the route is planned to be 160 km/h, but could potentially be increased to 200 km/h. To achieve this, bridges, signals, overhead wires, and other infrastructure will need to be upgraded to accommodate the increased speeds. The project aims to enhance track capacity.
Panch saal pehle shuru kiya gaya 'Mission Raftar' project, Mumbai aur Delhi ke beech 160 km/h ki speed se train chalane ka lakshya rakhta hai. 1,478 route km aur ₹8,000 crore ki lagat wala yeh project 90% se zyada complete ho chuka hai. High-speed operation ke liye tracks ke dono taraf...

India is route par apni pehli Sleeper Vande Bharat bhi launch kar sakta hai. 'Kavach' safety system, jo automatic braking se trains ki takkar ko rokta hai, puri route par lagaaya jaayega. West Railway par 735 km par 90 engines mein Kavach lagaya ja chuka hai. 142 km par successful trials hone ke baad, December 2024 tak installation complete hone ki ummid hai. Vadodara-Ahmedabad (62 km), Virar-Surat (40 km), aur Vadodara-Ratlam-Nagda (37 km) sections par trials ho chuke hain. Speed badhane ke liye tracks ko seedha kiya ja raha hai, unhe strong kiya ja raha hai, aur tracks ke niche cushion ko bhi badhaya ja raha hai. Project ne West Railway par 107 curves ko seedha kar diya hai, aur 27 aur curves ko seedha karne ki plan hai. Higher speeds ko handle karne ke liye, existing 52 kg/90 UTS rails ko 60 kg/90 UTS rails se replace kiya ja raha hai. Project jaldi se chal raha hai, aur kuchh kaam February 2024 tak complete hone ki ummid hai. Puri Mumbai-Delhi route par 'Kavach' technology ka istemal hoga. Route ke liye average speed 160 km/h hone wali hai, lekin ise 200 km/h tak badhaya ja sakta hai. Iske liye, bridges, signals, overhead wires, aur other infrastructure ko upgrade karna hoga. Project ka lakshya track capacity ko badhana hai.
