On the one hand railways says that the PGT-Pollachi route is underutilised, CBE is getting saturated and on the other hand comes this news stating track constraints at Palakkad.
Not sure whom to believe.

But if we look at the news, I have strong feeling that the railway is planning to introduce Cbe-rmm and Pgt-rmm trains as a single train i.e., CBE-RMM exp via PGT. Don't know what is going to happen.

If it is introduced via PGT by railways might be fine but if introduced via CBE-Podanur-Pollachi it will only contradict what they are saying and will also create unnecessary dissonance with passengers between PGT-POY who might feel undone by the decision. Lets wait and watch.
As regards the other proposal for trains to GHY, it seems SR is more keen on running these trains whereas i guess more push should come from NFR. A daily antyodaya between ERS or KCVL-GHY can really help solve the issue but would require at least 6 rakes

The proposal for an Antyodaya from Kongu region is good thought. Bcoz I have seen a lot of workers are not getting better train to reach their home in ER or NFR. The trains from CBE include Aronai, Hwh Antyodaya, silchar exp, Vivek exp etc., which are jam-packed from KL itself. So this proposal is a good one.....

Yes agree. Antyodaya is the better option. In these north east/east trains, travelling in sleeper is a nightmare. It is like travelling in general. Only exception is Allp-DHN wherein i have seen SL relatively ok and less crowded. For north east bound it is better to have antyodaya....if not daily at least triweekly or 4 times should be fine to some extent
