This is the standard...four of my bags were mercilessly ravaged and destroyed by rats while travelling in Sealdah Rajdhani (SDAH-NDLS), 2A to New Delhi.... on June 6, 2015...the staff says that the rats get entry from the yard itself...see how risky it can be...the nature of the holes indicated that the rats were big in size...next time they can bite an infant / child as well becoz mothers sleep with their children on the lower berth mostly...I have written to the GM, ER and RB. New Delhi but there is stoic silence on their part...apart from the monetary loss it can cause serious health hazards...all the money spent on the swatch bharat swatch rail campaign is just "going down the drain"...u know what i mean...

i have travelled quite a few times in Sealdah rajdhani.......... facilities are good...
but i did.nt see any rats throught my journey.
maybe one - two coaches may have
