This is great. Make in India.
Normal containers were developed for Standard Guage trains and were a bit narrower. An Indian designer tweaked this design to make it a bit wider for our Broad Guage, dwarfer but keeping length same in such a manner that 2 containers stacked one on another allowed the rake to run under wires. This way a rake could carry nearly double the amount of load than that of a normal one. RIL (read Mukesh Ambani) liked this design so much that this designer was contracted to supply huge quantity of containers exclusively for RIL. A story which began over 5 years ago has now hit the news.
