seats remaining empty on both directions. To improve utilization, Indian Railways is proposing to extend its route to Varanasi. The proposal is already prepared and is awaiting approval. Officials anticipate increased passenger numbers once the route extension is implemented. A similar strategy was successfully implemented with the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat, which saw increased occupancy after its extension to Prayagraj. This approach is being considered for the Meerut-Lucknow train, aiming for similar passenger growth after the extension to Varanasi.

se Lucknow ke beech chalne wali Vande Bharat train ka udghatan kiya tha. Meerut se Lucknow ke beech chalne wali Vande Bharat train ghatte ka sauda ban gayi hai. Up-down dono aur se 65 se 70% seats khali reh ja rahi hain, isliye isko Varanasi tak karne ki taiyaari ki ja rahi hai. Iska proposal taiyaar kar liya gaya hai. Railway officers ko umeed hai ki jaldi hi isko hari jhandi mil jaegi. Officers ko umeed hai ki iska sanchalan Varanasi tak hone se passengers ki संख्या badhegi. Gorakhpur se Lucknow tak chalne wali Vande Bharat mein bhi passengers ki संख्या kam rehti thi, lekin fir iska sanchalan Gorakhpur se Lucknow aur fir Prayagraj tak shuru kar diya gaya. Jis ke baad se yeh train ab bhar kar chalne lagi hai. Kuchh aisa hi Meerut se Lucknow tak chalne wali Vande Bharat train ke saath bhi karne ki taiyaari mein Railway hai. Isko Meerut se Lucknow se badha Varanasi karne ka proposal taiyaar ho gaya hai. Umed hai ki Varanasi tak chalne se ismein bhi passengers ki संख्या mein badhotri hogi.
