Indian Railways is upgrading four trains running from Agra to Jhansi to superfast status, increasing their speed and fares. This will result in a reduced travel time by 45 minutes to 1 hour. The new fares will be effective from January 1, 2025, and will see an increase of Rs. 20-60 across classes, from General to First AC. The speed increase will reduce travel time between Agra, Gwalior, and Jhansi by 15-20 minutes.
