modernize 16 stations with world-class facilities. He clarified that Bilaspur station, being a major one, will take time to redevelop. The tender process is complete and work will commence soon. Regarding the demolition of the historical building, the Minister stated it should be preserved and will discuss this matter with railway officials. It is known that the Railway's 'Gati Shakti' team has been attempting to demolish the building, but the GM and DRM have prohibited it. The team has been instructed to complete the work without demolition. The 'Gati Shakti' team has deliberately shelved the matter. There is growing public disapproval of this decision as people see the building as an emotional landmark and a significant part of Bilaspur's identity.

Tender process pura ho chuka hai aur jaldi hi kaam shuru ho jaayega. Purani building ko todne ke baare mein, Minister ji ne kaha ki isko bachaye rakhna chahiye aur woh is baare mein railway officials se baat karenge. Railway ki 'Gati Shakti' team building ko todne ki koshish kar rahi thi, par GM aur DRM ne isse mana kar diya. Unko building ko tode bina kaam pura karne ka order diya gaya hai. 'Gati Shakti' team ne purposely is matter ko shelved kar diya hai. Logon mein is decision ke khilaf narazgi badh rahi hai kyonki woh is building ko emotional landmark aur Bilaspur ki pehchan maanate hai.
