Tatanagar is currently undergoing upgrades for traction facilities. According to the senior DCM of the Chakradharpur division, Aditya Chaudhary, a new Vande Bharat train set has arrived, but the railway board has not yet communicated the route. Due to the lack of infrastructure at Tatanagar, the set is temporarily stationed at Chakradharpur. Once the route and operational day are finalized, the set will be moved to Tatanagar. As per reports, 17 Vande Bharat train sets are ready at the Chennai coach factory. Another set is reportedly arriving at Santragachi.

Chakradharpur mandal ke senior DCM Aditya Chaudhary ne bataya ki Vande Bharat train ka naya rack aaya hai, lekin marg ko lekar railway board se koi patra nahi aaya hai. Maloom ho ki Tatanagar mein line ka abhav hone ke karan Vande Bharat ke rack ko Chakradharpur mein rakha gaya hai. Marg aur parichalan ka din nirnayit hone par rack Tatanagar aayega. Jankari ke anusar, Chennai coach factory mein abhi Vande Bharat train ka 17 rack tayyar hai. Idhar, Santragachi mein bhi Vande Bharat train ka ek rack pahunchne ki soochana hai.
