on the Cantt-Malgodam Road. The running room has already received the best running room award for the North Railway Zone in 2019, 2020, and 2022 due to its modern facilities and efficient management. It houses 45 AC rooms, each accommodating two employees, with three rooms dedicated to female staff. Currently, the toilets and bathrooms for these rooms are located outside. The ADRM emphasized that the facility provides a 2-star hotel experience, featuring amenities like an open kitchen, yoga room, gym, RO water cooler, reading room, room heaters, dining hall, etc. Regular inspections are conducted every 15 days to ensure optimal conditions. The ADRM highlighted the crucial role of loco pilots and train managers in train operations and stated that all necessary amenities are provided to offer them sufficient rest after their duties.
