This was the second Vande Bharat Express service between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, having been virtually flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, 2024. Meanwhile, the South Central Railway (SCR) announced the addition of coaches (3 AC and sleeper) on various trains departing from Secunderabad, Lingampally, and Vikarabad, including those headed to Tirupati, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Visakhapatnam.
