Alternative arrangements were made to resume train operations. The DRM of Dhanbad, Kamal Kishore Sinha, arrived at the scene with his team and assessed the situation. The Gandhidham Express resumed its journey with a diesel engine at 9:53 AM. The disruption affected several trains including the Janshatabdi Express, Vande Bharat Express, Anand Vihar-Puri Express, Ajmer-Sealdah Express, and Gaya-Asansol MEMU train. These trains were operated on a single working line between Tanakuppa and Gurpa stations. The incident affected the operations of half a dozen trains for 3 to 5 hours.
