Samyukta Kisan Morcha has been blocking the railway tracks at the Shambhu border in Punjab and Haryana since April 17th, leading to widespread disruption in rail traffic. Over 20 trains are cancelled daily, including the Haridwar-Amritsar-Haridwar Jan Shatabdi Express and the Haridwar-Shri Ganganagar-Haridwar Intercity Express, which were initially cancelled until May 7th and continue to remain cancelled. The cancellations have caused inconvenience to passengers and financial losses for the railways, with daily refunds exceeding 15 lakhs rupees. The Indian Railways offers a 100% refund for offline reservations in case of train cancellations. Online bookings can be refunded through the IRCTC website.

Punjab aur Haryana ke Shambhu border par, Samyukta Kisan Morcha ne 17 April se railway track jam kar rakha hai. Isse railway traffic puri tarah se kharab ho gaya hai. Har roz 20 se zyada trains cancel ho rahi hain, jinmein Laksar-Roorkee route ki Haridwar-Amritsar-Haridwar Jan Shatabdi Express aur Haridwar-Shri Ganganagar-Haridwar Intercity Express bhi hai, jo 7 May tak cancel thi, aur abhi tak bhi cancel hain. Inke cancel hone se musafir pareshan ho rahe hain, aur railway ko bhi nuksan ho raha hai. Railway ki official website IRCTC ke mutabik, Moradabad aur Ambala mandal mein har roz in trains ki lagbhag 15 lakh rupaye se zyada ki ticket refund ho rahi hai. Agar train mein musafir ka offline reservation hai aur railway train ko cancel karta hai, toh yaatri booking counter par ticket vapas karke 100% refund le sakta hai. Agar reservation online hua hai, toh yaatri ko IRCTC website mein login karke Services mein jana hoga. Wahaan File Ticket Deposit Receipt mein My Transaction select karna hoga.
