The first section, Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension, is slated to open in July 2024. The project is funded by the Government of India, external loans, and the Delhi Government. The total estimated cost is approximately Rs. 24,948.65 crores. The new lines include the Aerocity – Tughlakabad (Golden Line), Mukundpur – Maujpur (Pink Line), Janakpuri West – R.K. Ashram (Magenta Line), Lajpat Nagar – Saket G-Block (Golden Line), and Inderlok – Indraprastha (Aqua Line).

2026 tak complete hone ki ummeed hai. Pehla section, Janakpuri West se Krishna Park Extension, July 2024 mein open hone wala hai. Project ko Government of India, external loans, aur Delhi Government fund kar rahe hain. Total estimated cost lagbhag Rs. 24,948.65 crores hai. Nayi lines mein Aerocity – Tughlakabad (Golden Line), Mukundpur – Maujpur (Pink Line), Janakpuri West – R.K. Ashram (Magenta Line), Lajpat Nagar – Saket G-Block (Golden Line), aur Inderlok – Indraprastha (Aqua Line) shamil hain.
