If the product is good, no additional marketing required. If product is not useful, no amount of marketing will work.
Can railways commit to run trains punctually? Can they assure passengers that they will not miss their flights?

Many of the staff working in airports for different companies are all provided transport ( at least most of them) which picks them up from their residences. It will not be that easy to shift them to train which will only drop them to the station whereas last mile connectivity needs to be taken care by themselves.

This is known fact. But railways started this project to attract airport employees and not to attract travelers.
But they failed miserably in both counts.
