Bypass & New Line making works going on over SECR.
1. Bypass line at Kharsia for Raigarh-Dharam Jaigarh Trains.
2. Gharghoda - Kotarlia New Line. Currently in progress.
3. Gevra - Gatora New line for Passenger traffic. Currently only a freight line present.

Doubling of Urkura E Cab 2 Raipur DLS i.e. Raipur bypass for BSP-TIG trains.
5. Upgrading passenger facilities at Urkura & Sarona, so that Passenger service trains can bypass Raipur in future.
6. Bypass at Marauda for Durg-Jagdalpur Trains.
7. Kalamna - Godhani Bypass for Trains bypassing Nagpur. Upgrading Passenger facilities at Kalamna & Godhani.
