There was an underpass. Has it been occupied/encroached upon? Those lines are now new fast lines and trains have to cover additional distance of about 2 kms, while the timetable is kept the same. Tracks are fit for 100 or 105 at the spot. Trains will zip past.
May be CR should open dialogue with Thane Corporation and local netas/mantris about re-opening of that underpass and also widening it.
