Ddn-Sre is not possible as per last report. Ddn-Umb is possible but no update yet
Infact there were few surveys in past budgets as well on a direct DDN - SRE route. This route would reduce DDN to Delhi & would also be possible to add new service from DDN to Jammu. Road travel takes approx 1 & half hour while Shatabdi takes 2 hrs 35 mins!
Sir I m not saying that existing track between Dehradun-Haridwar should finished. It should remain for trains plying from Dehradun towards Howrah, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj but for trains towards Delhi, Jammutavi, Amritsar & Chandigarh Dehradun- Saharanpur Route would be better option.
Sir Everything is possible but there should be strong will power. Udhampur-Katra Railway line, Katra-Banihal project, New Rishikesh- Karanprayag Projects are examples.
