Seems the Hindu journalist goofed up. Per CR PRO's tweet, Rs. 972 was cost of 108 cups of 100gms curd, i.e. 10.8 Kg of curds. The oil prices have also been shown exorbitantly.
Mistake ek item ki printing mein ho sakti, itne saare item mein nahi...
