we are talking about railways First railway should stop subsidy to all employs. No AC should be allowed by pass holders. Bu IR gets huge protest from employ unions, but need bold steps.

Fare structure and concession are two separate issues. Former is an economic necessity where as later is a burning example of the political expediency made by scores of RMs over three and a half decades. Concession applies over non ac as well as ac classes.

AC fares are reasonably high and any further increase shall promote migration to luxury buses/ aeroplanes. On the other hand non ac general class is heavily subsidised as compared to bus fares.

sleeper, general increase will not fetch IR into profits. Operation losses is very less when compared to the improper planning.
Why RDSO comes with different concepts every 2 years but they will never used.
Also many LHB AC trains running empty , why not reduce production and use then effectively

convert less patronised ac express trains to SF trains by adding SL coaches

which is main reason for large number of ac berths going vacant. IR must understand that it cannot indefinitely profiteer from ac class paxs on large scale, else the ACI,ACII,EC shall switch to airlines and ACIII,ACC,ACII,SL shall switch over to buses.

Rationalising poorly patronised services with less number of coaches on the same route into fewer services with full length rakes so that the existing traffic is taken care of.
