The Indian Railways has signed an MoU pledging investment of Rs. 67,000 crore for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project, which was announced in the railway budget.
French aircraft maker Airbus intending to set up a manufacturing facility in the Gujrat/India is a very good news a s India badly needs to be a big player in aircraft manufacture, in line with its plans to popularise air travel and a highest annual growth (23%)in air traffic last year . More over India is the largest arms importer country in the world and it need go for indigenous production/ export of arms as well. But the company shall be in a position to implement it if it secures defence contract for supply of military aircraft and choppers.
