My dear friend, I'm afraid to say, that what you suggest IRlys to do, is impractical, unjustified, and self harming for I Rlys itself. Your words appear to be coming out of your agonized heart instead of brain. Anybody should be pained to see/foresee mindless damage caused to national economy/property.
Only a small fraction of population indulge in rail blockade and why to penalize the rest innocent people who in fact bear the brunt of such blockades? It will be a double whammy on them.
IRlys will loss traffic and...
more... revenue to its competitors temporarily and some of it may be permanently. Jocularly speaking, stopping of trains for 5 years probably means stopping them forever as the railway premises shall most probably be encroached upon if left unattended/ operative for a long period of 5 years. “Yaani ki kaiyon ki Balle Balle”
Indeed the practice of resorting to large scale and extended rail blockade must not be tolerated. IRlys cannot do much about it. It comes under the purview of Central Govt. to make suitable law and duty of State govts to support it. Such activities which cause immense harm to nation should be declared as anti national activity and there should be provision to put main culprits involved in such activities behind the bars for 5 years and stop all kind of subsidies given to them. The persons who damage the national property/economy do not deserve a penny from the hard earned money paid by the honest taxpayers of our nation
People have various genuine options to put their grievances before govt and courts. They resort to disruption/violence because they are taken lightly and no strict action is taken by Govt.
