Tamil Nadu's transport minister, S.S. Sivashankar, has stated that there are no land acquisition issues hindering the Madurai-Tuticorin broad gauge railway project. The state government will continue to urge the central government to implement the project.

Tamil Nadu ke transport minister, S.S. Sivashankar ne bataya hai ki Madurai-Tuticorin broad gauge railway project mein zameen hasil karne mein koi dikkat nahin hai. State government central government se project ko implement karne ke liye continuously request karega.
