That is not solution. There is no end to keep on adding platforms. The main bottle neck of VSKP station is Engine reversal. Each train is taking more than 30 minutes to detach and attach Engine. Similarly terminating trains will occupy platform hours together. I don't know why they will stop. They should stop loading / unloading of terminating trains break vans on platforms...

There is no need of additional lines between VSKP & DVD. Already Automatic signalling provided between GPT - VSKP. 6-7 trains can travel simultaneously in each direction of existing double line. The bottle neck is availability of platform. If they keep on adding platforms will create more problems like Howrah (Lot of time will be wasted due to cross movements). The only solution is to lay new lines like bulb and eliminate engine reversal.
Similarly Railways can provide Automatic signalling between DVD-GPT and PDT-GPT. this is very cost effective solution compared to new line.

there is a connectivity from the other side of the station. they can find bulb connectivity to Gopalapatnam very easily.
