In a first for Indian Railways, Bijwasan and Anand Vihar railway stations in the Capital will have separate arrival and departure terminals after their redevelopment at a cost of Rs 700 crore.“Platforms of both Bijwasan and Anand Vihar will be developed differently from the existing ones and arrival and departure of passengers will be segregated like airports, a first in Indian Railways,” said a senior Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) official involved with the project.
