Nice observation from across the border. IR is the life line of India...its Arteries. The best thing is that it has integrated far flung areas of India as one great Nation. This success is due to the fact that India is democratic, secular and forward looking state. In the initial years after 1947..... the priority of Indian leaders was to put in place strong foundations for a great nation..... Railways, Big Dams, Steel and Electrical Industry etc etc. That time the growth was slow....but now those steps are paying handsome dividends. My feeling is that Pakistan took just the opposite route and therefore is in mes today.
