This led to water accumulation due to the heavy rainfall starting at 4 am, eventually reaching a foot above the track level. Consequently, 16 express, superfast, and mail trains, including the Malwa and South Express, were impacted. 6 freight trains were also affected. The disruption to train services lasted from 5:10 am to 9:28 am, a total of 4 hours and 18 minutes.

Is wajah se subah 4 baje se shuru hui baarish ki wajah se paani jama ho gaya aur track se ek foot upar tak aa gaya. The Railway division is taking all complaints seriously, particularly those related to extra charges and seat allocation. The West Central Railway has also announced changes to the timings of several trains, including MEMU and Intercity trains, effective from July 8th, 2024. Rail Mandal sabhi complaints ko seriously le raha hai, khaas karke extra charges aur seat allocation se related. West Central Railway ne bhi July 8th, 2024 se, kai trains ke timings mein changes kiye hain, jismein MEMU aur Intercity trains bhi include hain. Yeh changes operation efficiency aur passenger convenience ke liye kiye gaye hain. Similarly, other trains like the Singrauli-Jabalpur Intercity Express (11652), the Rewa-Jabalpur Shuttle Express (11706), and the Bhopal-Damoh Rajya Rani Express (22161) have seen modifications in their arrival times at various stations. A few trains have had their schedule changed on July 10th, 2024, such as train number 06603, the Bina-Katni Murwara MEMU Express, which will arrive at Katni Murwara station at 5:20 PM instead of 4:50 PM. The revised timings are intended to optimize operational requirements and enhance passenger convenience.
