This is because these trains have been experiencing delays for several years. Recently, during a 36-hour block at CSMT, some Konkan-Mumbai trains were partially cancelled. The affected trains are: Train No. 16346 Thiruvananthapuram to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Daily Netravati Express, Train No. 16345 Netravati Express running between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Thiruvananthapuram, Train No. 12620 Matsyagandha Express running between Mangalore Central to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, and Train No. 12619 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Mangalore Central Matsyagandha Express.

Conversely, Train No. 16345 Nethravathi Express (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Thiruvananthapuram Central) will originate from Panvel instead of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from July 1st to July 30th, 2024. Similarly, Train No. 12619 Matsyaganda Express (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Mangalore Central) will also originate from Panvel during the same period.
